NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED HOUSING PROGRAM AND ISSUANCE OF REVENUE BONDS FOR THE PROGRAM, AT THE REQUEST OF GRANDVIEW CHRISTIAN HOME NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing shall be conducted by the City Council of the City of Bethel, Minnesota (the "City") on the combination housing program described below and the issuance by the City of housing and health care revenue bonds, in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $42,000,000 (the "Bonds"), to provide financing for the combination housing program, all pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C, as amended. The Bonds would be issued at the request of Grandview Christian Home, a Minnesota nonprofit corporation and the successor by merger to Grandview West, Inc. (the "Borrower"). The proceeds of the Bonds will be loaned to the Borrower to provide financing for the combination housing program now on file at the City, providing for the construction and equipping of a new replacement skilled nursing facility with approximately 140 beds, a new assisted-living facility with approximately 20 units, and a new 50-unit senior independent senior housing facility in the City of Cambridge (the "Project"). The City of Cambridge has consented to the issuance of the Bonds by the City of Bethel. The facilities to be financed by the Bonds will be located at 1545 River Hills Parkway Northwest in the City of Cambridge. The facilities will all be owned and operated by the Borrower or by an affiliated Minnesota nonprofit corporation under common ownership and control with the Borrower. The hearing will be held in the City offices, located at 23820 Dewey Street, Bethel, Minnesota, on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. At such time and place the City shall give all parties who appear or submit written comments an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposed combination housing program and the issuance of the Bonds.
