PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT Global Academy, a public charter school, is requesting proposals for a vended meals contract. Global Academy is offering meals to students in Grades K-8 through the School Breakfast Program (7 CFT 220) and National School Lunch Program (7 CFR 210) according to the requirements set by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Standards and the Minnesota Department of Education. A daily average of 410 breakfast and lunch meals will be served for 172 specified school days between August 2017 and June 2018 at Global Academy located at 4065 Central Avenue NE, Columbia Heights, MN 55421. Interested vendors should contact Helen Fisk, Director, at 763-404-8225 or helen.fisk@globalacademy.us for a copy of the Invitation for Bid and specifications for a contract for vended meals. Sealed bids must be submitted to the school by 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 and clearly marked: Contract for Vended Meals Proposal. A public bid opening will at held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7th, 2017, at the same location.
