A public hearing will be held on September 19, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) Headquarters, 2117 West River Road North, to consider the addition of Chapter 19 to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Code of Ordinances. Chapter 19 allows MPRB's Human Resource department to establish its own hiring procedures by ordinance while still using Civil Ser-vice Rules and charter provisions for hiring guidelines. Individuals who would like to speak to the Board of Commissioners about the topic can sign up to speak at the meeting before 6:00 pm on the day of the public hearing.
